Many thanks for sending us 2 of your puzzle books which we were really pleased to see. We think that they are a great resource with a wide range of engaging titles. Having graded activities is a good idea. We like the inclusion of the conversation hints and the concept of the books being designed as collaborative activities rather than for solitary use. The books are attractively laid out and would lend themselves well to shared intergenerational activity. We look forward to hearing your updates.

I personally found the book a very helpful resource with not only starting an activity with the pictures & images but also carrying on a meaningful conversation using the questions at the bottom of the page. There is a good variety of puzzles with varying levels of difficulty which makes the book suitable for varied levels of capacity. I found that the pictures of stars brought back some lovely memories for them and these worked well as a group activity - on the flip side they are suitable for one to one's as well. Yesterday our residents reacted well to the book and enjoyed looking at 'TV's through the ages' which sparked conversation about their younger years when they lived with their parents. We also photocopied the two pages of 'Who's that star?' so everyone could have one and we went through each picture figuring out who they were and talking about favourite films they have been in - this one got the brain's working well! Some residents who struggle with their eyes did find the print quite small but other than that we enjoyed our session.
